This website encompasses a wide range of mixed media; woodcuts, oil paintings, photography, encaustics, and small constructions. Favorite subjects include animals, winged creatures, flowers and mythical allusions, often along with text.

With a scholarship in hand after graduating Olney High School in Philadelphia, I attended The University of The Arts for two years. I then transferred to Moore College of Art and Design to specialize in Fabric Design. I began my career in New York City where I gained employment as a fabric designer and colorist.  After two years I returned to Philadelphia and married my fiance Ed Letven, whom I had met in The University of the Arts (UARTS).

We opened a design studio. The joint enterprise eventually grew into a large advertising and marketing company with national accounts. I was an Art Director and member of the Board of Directors. In 1975 I left the agency to focus all of my creative energies on painting, printmaking and other fine art pursuits.
